Symbiotic relationships:
Symbiosis:
When two or more animals are living in a close area.
Parasitism:
When one animal is benefitting and the is other is not and is harmed, sometimes to death. Example: (Tapeworm-Cow , Ticks-Dogs, Hagfish-Catfish)
Commensalism:
When one organism benefits and the other isn't, but not harmed. Examples: ( Alligator-Egyptian plover, shark-remora, tree-bird)
mutualism:
When both organism benefit equally. Examples: (sea anemone-clown fish, crab-algae, jelly fish- fish [poison resistant])
predation:
When one organism preys on the other. Examples: (sharks- fish, whale shark-krill, rainbow shrimp-small fish)
